TRIO services for college students at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith are split into two programs: TRIO SSS and TRIO STEM
TRIO SSS
TRIO SSS provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and motivates students toward the successful completion of their baccalaureate degree.
TRIO STEM
TRIO STEM provides opportunities and services for students seeking a baccalaureate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Health Sciences.

- One-on-one and online tutoring

*All services are free to participants
How do I qualify?
- First-generation college student and/or
- Meet certain income requirements and/or
- Have a documented disability
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree
- Show a strong commitment to completing college
*to apply for TRIO STEM, you must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or health science.
